The DNC is such a useless organization. Never mind that it is just the moral thing to do, it is a 95-5 issue among their base and they still can’t even do half measures.
The DNC had 2 Gaza resolutions:
A status quo one
A stronger one (arms embargo, suspend military aid, recognize Palestine). Proponents even offered a version only on "offensive" arms
Still, the DNC voted for former & against latter.
…And then it withdrew the resolution, to open a Task Force instead.
