The bobble hat made a return this evening. 8 x 120m sprints with phased acceleration. It was a bit cold for sprinting but I love running fast #running #athletics

I hurt today. Last night's 3 x 450m with progressive speed increases every 150m nearly killed me. The temperature has also dramatically dropped this week down to 3 degrees. #running #athletics

1) British Masters 400m medal
2) European Masters 400m final
I've now hit both of these. The European final is tomorrow and quite frankly I don't care how I go, I'm just excited to be there! #running #athletics

We had our club presentation evening last night. It was lovely to be recognised with best veteran track athlete and an outstanding achievement award. It was also great to see all the amazing young athletes we have at our club competing at national and international standards. #running #athletics

It couldn't have gone much better today. A huge vet PB for me (400m in 54.23), 3rd fastest time in the UK this year and a bronze medal in the British Champs. Absolutely buzzing #running #athletics

It's the British Masters Athletics Champs today. This is the 1st major comp I've raced in since I was 17 (33 years ago). I can't wait to pitch myself against the best in the country. I'm in great shape so let's see what happens #running #athletics
