Putting more money in your pocket by fixing health care, housing, utilities, & more.

Fighting for public schools.

We're 30 members strong at the Statehouse in Indianapolis.
NEW: Hoosiers' average annual electricity bills grew more than in any other state this year. You're paying $260 total more than last year 🤯

A 16.3% growth in your electricity bill over the course of one year is MUCH higher than the rate of inflation.

The cost of living is top of mind for Hoosiers. That's why it's top of mind for us this legislative session.

Hoosiers do better when Washington gets out of our way.

Utility bills are rising for Hoosiers as it gets colder out.

This is why Rep. @cherrishpryor.bsky.social offered an amendment this spring to freeze rate hikes for one year.

Indiana House Republicans said no! 👎

Bringing this back.

SNAP benefits are delayed and reduced for November.

This is why we asked Gov. Braun and Statehouse Republicans to give our state food banks additional money.

Hoosiers deserve better than this. 🔗⬇️

Check out this pie chart about our state taxes. Who isn't paying their fair share? 🔎👀

(Hint: It's not the average Hoosier worker!)

It's simple: Hoosiers want life to be more affordable.

We're fighting for that future.

Calculate how much your health care premiums will go up in January if federal Republicans let health care assistance expire ❤️‍🩹⬇️

🚨 BREAKING: HOUSE DEMOCRATIC LEADER PHIL GIAQUINTA REACTS TO UPDATED SESSION TIMELINE, CALLS FOR ACTION ON COST OF LIVING 🚨

UPDATE: Two federal judges have ruled withholding SNAP benefits to be unlawful. Our caucus will continue to monitor the situation to ensure no Hoosier goes hungry due to the shutdown.
Hundreds of thousands of Hoosiers will lose SNAP benefits TOMORROW. We're calling on Gov. Braun to keep Hoosiers from going hungry by funding Indiana food pantries throughout the federal government shutdown.

Like Representative Gregory Porter said yesterday while proposing the use of state funds to cover SNAP, we have a rainy day fund for a reason, and it's now storming! We will continue pushing to use our state savings to keep over half a million Hoosiers from going hungry.

On the hunt for a proclamation from Gov. Braun that solves the real problems Hoosiers are facing 👀🔍

If you've already called or emailed about redistricting, ask your friends and family all across our state to get in touch with their state reps and senators. It's all 150 legislators' jobs to listen to their constituents - so let's make sure they've heard from as many Hoosiers as possible!

Why are we letting D.C. elites order us around when Indiana's cost of living is skyrocketing?

Instead of spending taxpayer $ on a fake problem, our state should focus on making life more affordable for Hoosiers. Property taxes, utility bills, and healthcare costs need fixing!

🚨 BREAKING: Gov. Braun has called a special session to redraw IN's congressional maps.

Hoosiers don't want new political maps. Hoosiers want their utility bills, property taxes, and health care costs fixed.

Welcome, State Representative Randy Novak!

"Public service has been my life’s passion. I’ve always believed in working hard, staying accountable and putting people first. I’m committed to representing our community with integrity, transparency and a common-sense approach." - Rep. Novak

We're staying vigilant.

Hoosiers need a special session to bring down utility bills, not a special session to redraw political maps.

Our state leaders should focus on helping you get by, not helping themselves out.

We joined Hoosiers for a rally against redistricting on Friday as we enter month 3 of fighting off an absurd scheme to rig the 2026 elections. The VP wouldn't have had to come back to Indiana to twist arms and threaten the Statehouse GOP if not for YOU and how loudly you've made your voice known.

Why is JD Vance coming to Indiana AGAIN to shoplift congressional seats instead of fixing the federal government shutdown?
