Asking what’s the point? Worried about the future of local government. Muttering ‘good grief’ a lot
Remainers have no political voice. No MP wants to challenge or make the case for rejoining- or, if they do, they are not being listened to by MSM. Very little public discourse

I wouldn’t have argued with her 😉

Exactly. Short selling. By the tech oligarchy

So the tech bros are the drivers. Is Project 2025 the vehicle? Are Trump and Vance passengers?

A political policy masquerading as an economic necessity. Still continuing to this day

The ‘undeserving poor’. Never gets old, even 4 centuries later

The public shouldn't be paying profit margins on *any* existential supply or natural monopoly: not water, not energy, not council services, not broadband. The way this country has been carved up and bled, even as people are literally dying from poverty, is obscene.

Completely agree. Drove me mad over Christmas! Averaging 5 emails per purchase online. Also, some places want email addresses for receipts even when you make a cash purchase so you still get the loads of emails 🤬

We all know it’s not that she doesn’t understand or that she’s pretending not to understand. It’s just that this is the language that has been a successful tool in MSM to communicate with the public (supposed) reasons for spending cuts. Political tool to divest responsibility. Can’t afford it 🤷‍♀️

Ed Davey has done some mad stunts to get MSM airtime. But is he being mad now? Or is saying what a lot of people are thinking and giving voice to the 49%?

You can buy them in multi packs of 6 in B&M stores now 😉

We disregard Reform at out peril. They may seem mad, but it’s their madness that gives them a media platform and then gradually the drip drip drip of their mad ideas becomes normalised

As much as I support rejoining the EU, I am not convinced that there is enough political appetite for it from either side. Especially when you consider the creation of a large number of SEZs and Freeports that aim to be exempt from EU laws

Is it to do with our adulation of the money and power of those that say these things (Trump, Musk)? Or the control exercised by the newspaper owners? Or is just that responding to provocative statements sells more papers/gains more listeners?
