Working class: works for a living in job not thought of as a profession: manual, retail, maybe menial office worker etc

Middle Class: works for a living in job thought of as a profession: doctor, lawyer, senior office worke, etc

Upper class: inherited status, may have wealth independent of working

I'm sure this is independently interesting but in respect to philosophy of mind only a yes to all this might go some way to showing it's at this level of activity the phenomenology is generated, or is identical to. Otherwise it still suggests it's not.

And if so is this the case for all phenomenology rather than just a subset, and does some aspect of the brain states hold even when (as I understand it) another part of the brain takes on some function of a damaged part?

Or stronger, it's function now, is as an object to sit on. It was designed with function x but its use is now function y. Same with LLMs, except it's misuse, like using a barrel without a top lid, so one falls inside!

Yeah I essentially agree. I guess we're just split on whether its function is set by how its designed to work, or whether that changes when its put to use for some purpose by its creators, or even its users. If a beer barrel is used as a stool in a bar, I'd say its functioning as an object to sit on
