The nerve to send this and to put your face on it too.
They can’t beat the grifters so they join them, I guess.

“We begged you…” that’s when I saw red. I couldn’t type Stop fast enough.

Same. Wanted so bad for her to be the nominee in 2020.

Okay, I dig it. It’s a year to get lost in some good stories.

I don’t have a recipe but I had this last week at Hugo’s in Houston and it was so delicious!

I have video I guess!

Nikita appreciated the break from the long drive, but was a little perplexed by Cadillac Ranch.

We lost our sweet girl in May, and I’m so glad we took her with us to Colorado for Christmas. I feel like I’ll be heartbroken forever.

Nikita always had a flair for the dramatic. Not only is she using my bolsters, she’s in my heating pad.

Interesting! Here in SE Texas we have loblolly pine trees. Very tall, kind of odd-looking.

H‑E‑B has these Hood River Cherry Company cherries and they are so good! Go get you some.

A bit of a mess after Hurricane Beryl. Power went out around 11:30am, ironically after the worst of it was over. We came to Austin, where today Spectrum internet quit, statewide. 3rd lengthy power outage in 7 weeks. We are better off than many, but boy, does it wear you down!

At home resting with my sweet old girl, Nikita. I fear I’m going to have to say goodbye to her soon. She’s pretty special to our family and I’m hoping for just a little more time.
I don’t have much of a following but I’m hoping @darthbluesky.bsky.social et al might send her love our way.

Since it’s flag discourse day, does anyone know why people are planting full-size flags in their yards by the curb? Even if they already have one flying on their house? Are they extra patriotic or is this a MAGA thing?

It’s already so hot in Houston that the squirrels are “splooting” in my flowerpots.
Also, for the first time in my life, I have managed to keep a Christmas poinsettia alive!

Kyle Fair in Kyle, Texas today! I was with Kyle #391. They didn’t really come close to breaking the record but there was good food and music, lots of Kyles from all over!

Welp, got to experience my first tornado. It was scary and intense! Cleanup is going to take awhile…tons of trees and power poles down.

Yesterday was a little bit stressful and sad, so I gently pushed myself to go for an early walk in the preserve by our condo. The early bird gets to hear the cardinals singing loud and clear.

Wildflower season is here…Lordy, how we love our bluebonnets in Texas!

You’ve been murdered. Who do you want on the case?

I love all the tortie pictures! I lost mine to cancer last year, unfortunately, but she’s unforgettable.
