I lived in West Berlin in the 80s. I would visit the DDR (East Berlin). You would see lines of people at stores. I was told when a store got a shipment of toilet paper, word got out and there was a rush to that store.

I put up 3kw of solar 18 years ago. I had to take them down to fix a leak and just got them back up. Someone gave me 60 10 yo panels that I want to put on my barn. Permitting is more difficult than 18 years ago.

I have been letting some milkweed grow in a couple of our fields. We are seeing a lot more this year.

I installed 3.1kw of panels in 2007 myself. I had a small roof leak since I used "L" brackets,just took them down,using another system now. Should have them back up next weekend.Produced about 70 Mega Watt Hrs in 18 yrs. They are not putting out as much as when new, but should last another 10 years
