Suomen Akatemia on myöntänyt viisivuotisen akatemiaprofessorin rahoituksen InFLAMES-ryhmänjohtajalle, molekulaarisen solubiologian professorille Johanna Ivaskalle. Suomen Akatemia myönsi Johanna Ivaskalle 2 400 000 euron akatemiaprofessorin rahoituksen tutkimukseen, jossa selvitetään, miten syöpäkasvainta ympäröivän kudoksen jäykkyys ja koostumus vaikuttaa syövän kehittymiseen, lääkeherkkyyteen ja soluliikkeeseen syöpäsolujen levitessä elimistössä.
