I don't think the lawyer has any thoughts other than to put his name on the bottom of what Rudy wrote and hope that the money Rudy promised comes through.

Yea, I worked expatriates at a major firm based there, the expats generally are happy living there, but many of them seldom leave the compound.
The company is also slowly reducing the reliance on expatriate expertise.

Citizens are well taken care of from what I've seen. Though where i have been the majority of people are actually foreign nationals with no chance of citizenship.
I had to pay for my Covid test to leave the country, so I'm not sure the free care extends to the (Mostly) Indian workers.

I've driven through a few.... I've had work trips to a few where I spent one day in an office and one night in a hotel.
Do I feel like I've "been there" ... not really.
