Today I got on the two wastewater surveillance sites in Indiana to see what’s floating around before the holidays. Carmel and Bloomington. Looks like Norovirus is the prevalent bug. Flu and covid seems low right now.

First year post-legalization in Ohio, let’s take a look at the numbers. Sales totals for first year: recreational brought in $700M; medical/recreational combined brought in $3B. 36% of these revenues goes to cities and townships.

Our governor’s bright idea: toll the interstates to get $2B per yr

Finished the miniseries on James Garfield last night, Death by Lightning,
on Netflix (very good). I never knew anything about him but once visited Lakeview Cem in Cleveland where he is buried. I was shocked at the size and grandeur of his memorial.

They view these datacenters as a utility, like phones, electric and gas. This is an important understanding, that’s one of the ways they are selling it to lawmakers.

This dude’s example of what data should be stored on each and every one of us from birth to grave.

The Oct 13 date in Seymour would be approx 3 weeks prior to election day. Seymour was a major transportation hub (railroad) so it was to meet with this guy and whatever was produced from meeting could be notarized on election day.

I have never found him in civil war records.

It claims the 3rd Auditors office handled army pay; claims by soldiers, widows; bounty claims; contractors claims; reimbursement for war time damages.

Election day was a timeframe where most people would be at home and avail to go to courthouse for notary services.

I have this postcard of my grgrandfathers that I never understood. It’s from the US Treasury Dept in 1880 requesting him to be in Brownstown on election day and Seymour on October 13, 1880. So I asked AI just to see what it said. And it spit out an opinion. #genealogy

It’s south of Taylorsville, about a mile north of Columbus airport. It’s next to Flatrock Baptist Cemetery on 550W and River Road. The little town of Clifford to the east.

We’re taking a road trip, a long one. Evansville to Key West. But my plan is not to touch an interstate highway….all back roads. So I’ve mapped the route. Only 132 xtra miles via backroads, but takes xtra 8 hrs. That’s because Florida traffic sucks from St Pete down.
