Biologist/drug developer here. My son wants to go to medical school for the same reason. He said "It would be devastating to work on something for years and have the funding evaporate". He says this because he's seen it happen to me and his mom.

We have two cars, both EVs. I take long road trips up and down east coast in US and very rural Canada and have no problems. Love them.
