Foul-mouthed yellow-dog Democrat, knitter from Illinois. She/her. Probably not that interesting. A student of mine once wrote on an evaluation, "She thinks she's funny, but she's not."

Please don't DM me.
Holy crap, this is heinous!

The feds have a different account of the incident, but they're known to be flagrant liars, so 🤷🏻‍♀️?

Wow.

I think about this paragraph when people talk about rising crime at a time when crime has been falling for years. Media sensationalism has created that impression in contradiction to the facts.

She is, in fact, a feline Mr. Darcy (without Pemberly & £5000/year, alas): her good opinion once lost, is lost forever.

This is a couple of years old, but here's Ginger wearing the Paper Plate of Shame while recovering from her spay (the vet cone didn't last long at all). She's never forgiven us for taking her to the evil vet. 😿

AO3 went down because its users were a little too enthusiastic. I am reminded that "enthusiastic" used to be a pejorative.

Apparently that's literal.

And here's how it knit up. No neat pooling, but I like it anyway. I did run out of yarn for the last 4 rows & had to sub some teal blue from my stash. The pattern is Moho by Christopher Salas

There's some nice pooling going on with my cat bed. I cast a serendipitous number of stitches for the colors to pool nicely instead of splotching like clown barf.

Normally I like to knit the Harmonic Mosaic Dishcloth in pairs, reversing the colors, but I only knit 1 cloth with these colors.
