The beautiful thing is the photo, which takes up half the front page, is a shining example of how great immigration has been for this country, and utterly undermines the message below it. It could’ve been worse, they could have chosen other pictures, so I’m glad they chose that one.
The Daily Mail lead with a photo of triumphant Irish and Ghanaian heritage Lioness players + another anti-immigration story. What hypocritical graceless fuckwits.

Farage comes straight out saying his new councillors need to do a ‘DOGE’ - Musk’s ruinous approach to culling govt offices and public services. ‘Efficiency savings’ that are costing America dearly. This isn’t change. This is more of the vicious uselessness that broke our country in the first place.

Kemi Badenoch keeps calling for inquiries into the rape gangs. I’m just very confused as to why she never thought to look into this important issue herself when she was Minister for Women. #PMQs

Despite strong misgivings about the ‘transfer’ bought this today, first issue from Tortoise media, as I passionately want to see quality newspapers continue in print. Verdict: pretty good. In further support of exemplary journalism, also subscribed to Carol Cadwalladr’s Substack today.

This is leadership.

It’s also unprecedented.

A masterclass in gaslighting from Europe’s last dictator, Lukashenko. Steve Rosenberg is formidable in his effort to hold him accountable. Even after that chilling ‘Don’t overdo it Steve’ he just keeps going.
“What wretched question have you prepared for me?” My surreal Q&A with Alexander Lukashenko. He claimed his opponents had “chosen” prison or exile (in reality the authorities had chosen to target them.) Plus, "Prison is for people who opened their mouths too wide" Thanks @lizashuvalova.bsky.social

Far right honker, Nigel, furiously peddles stupid, prejudiced ideas that make you poorer. Then, when you are poorer, he tells you you’re right to feel angry about that. But not with him.
