I get this happens in the men’s peloton, but the gap seems to be a lot wider within the women’s

If anything, it just highlights the fact that funding for women’s sport is unequal, even within itself.

You get the teams at the top that get the most funding and tend to win most with a lot of teams near the bottom fighting for survival. Riders even having to ride for free in some cases

This also happens in football when there’s a big scoreline in a women’s game.

As if a men’s team hasn’t lost by more than 3 goals before.

It is a ridiculous argument

But if they won Omloop, they can’t win RVV!

I’m looking forward to seeing how Derek Gee will race this. He is favourite after a strong winter lighting up Strava, and brings a strong team including Fuglsang, Clarke and Frigo.

Gee seems to be the strongest TT rider out of the GC contenders also and will look to gain a lot of time on stage 3
Another very strong effort by Gee on a popular segment. #dailystrava

UCI say they have no plans to move the championships out of Rwanda, but they must be thinking of having a backup in case the situation progresses for the worse.
