KEEP CALLING. PEEL OFF ALL DEM SENATORS YOU CAN.

☎️: (202) 224-3121

Tell them to vote NO on Cloture and NO on CR. Vote is pushed to after 1:15ish for now. Situation is fluid.

The only public YES votes are Schumer and Fetterman. They need 7-8 total. KEEP CALLING.

Call retiring Senators too!

AOC: It is almost unthinkable why Senate Democrats would vote to to hand the few pieces of leverage that we have away for free when we've been sent here to protect social security, protect medicaid, and protect medicare.

We’ve received too many reports about GOP voicemails being full for this to be a coincidence.

If your Republican representative is avoiding you, show up to one of their local offices.

You can also send an email to make it clear you don’t want to pay the price for the GOP’s billionaire tax breaks.

Many people are asking me if Elon Musk is stealing tax-payer money or using our private information to enrich himself?

I’m a Member of Congress on the committee for Government Oversight and I can’t tell you that he’s not. That’s a problem.

Apparently Murkowski said calls to the Senate have gone from the usual 40 calls/hr to 1600 calls/hr, and it occurred to me that with enough pushing to set us off, Americans can Karen like no other people on earth 😂

“Any American filing taxes right now, those payments are getting processed by this system,” Butler warned. “Tax return information is among the most protected data in federal law... Even the President does not have the ability to broadly authorize access to tax return information.”
We asked legal experts about the specific laws they think Trump may be breaking when he:
—Tries to dissolve USAID
—Grants Musk access to Treasury's payment system
—Offers millions of federal employees a buyout

Here's what they told us:

I want to spell out the basic reason it’s so dangerous for Elon to have control of the U.S. payments system. It may seem like a technical matter, but the dynamics are simple. 1/x

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gave Mr. Musk’s representatives at the so-called Department of Government Efficiency a powerful tool to monitor and potentially limit government spending.

This matters. Not because I think Trump is capable of mercy or empathy towards these vulnerable groups. But because it is a public act of defiance.

Contrast that with all these other powerful people in this country signaling nothing but appeasement and obedience.
Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde to Trump: "I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now. There are gay, lesbian, and transgender people in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives ... and the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals"
