Enchanting animation as the story is told via wooden dolls so the characters are made of wood. The Land of The Remembered is bright and colourful and everything is so full of detail.

A wonderful love story around the Mexican Day Of The Dead, two boys and a girl are all friends but the Gods who rule over the Lands of The Remembered and The Forgotten have a wager on which boy will eventually marry the girl.

I watched it in 3D and it was simply exceptional. The BluRay is a three disc set with over 5 hours of excellent bonus features, including a 2.5 hour documentary on the making of this brilliant film.
Highly recommend.

While it has a great cast, it is essentially a two hander between Christian Bale’s Moses and Aussie Joel Edgerton’s Pharaoh Ramses.
However, this really is an EPIC film, from not only the cast, to its scale, massive physical sets augmented with CGI, costumes and its wonderful soundtrack.

Outstanding acting and story. In a time where AI is really developing exponentially in our life time, how do we know if an AI actually feels emotion, or is it just programming? And can we just say the same for humans?

Essentially a three hander, Oscar Isaac as the employer, Domhnall Gleeson as the employee and Alicia Vikander as the AI robot are undergoing a groundbreaking test, but who is really testing who and who can really be trusted?
