It is with immense sadness that I need to share that my beautiful Mum, Delphine Rushby, passed away this morning.
Her journey has come to an end, her pain has now gone forever and she is at peace.
I will always be grateful that I was here when she left this life.
Love You Mum.

Kingsman: The Secret Service is probably one of the best spy movies ever made. It’s serious, it’s funny, it has action and our hero gets to give a princess anal.
It also has one of the best soundtracks. Love it!

Along with a few fantastic behind the scenes documentaries, the BluRay boasts four additional ways to watch the film, commentary, storyboard picture-in-picture and games!
Return to Thra, it’s a beautiful journey.

There is also some wonderful songs and interpretations of existing songs. My favourite was ‘Creep’!
Watch this with someone you love.

Taken 3 actually has a decent story, it’s just the insane camera shots and editing that unfortunately doesn’t create excitement and tension, it is just bloody annoying.

I watched it in 3D and it was simply exceptional. The BluRay is a three disc set with over 5 hours of excellent bonus features, including a 2.5 hour documentary on the making of this brilliant film.
Highly recommend.

Outstanding acting and story. In a time where AI is really developing exponentially in our life time, how do we know if an AI actually feels emotion, or is it just programming? And can we just say the same for humans?

I felt the first hour of the film was too slow but the second half redeems the film by finally dealing with someone being Divergent. I think the first half needs a good editing and this would be a better film.
It does have a fantastic cast though.

Misty was looking particularly pretty tonight sitting half on my lap so I asked her if I could take her photo because she was so beautiful and said to look at the camera.

New characters come in the welcome forms of Tamsin Greig and Richard Gere, who may not be who they seem, or are they?
A poignant character is Mrs Donnelly played by the legendary Dame Maggie Smith and how her story plays.
I would love to return to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel for a third visit.

Not everything goes to plan but the seven people who come to stay at The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel certainly get to live. The cast are the finest acting legends of British talent.
This is both funny and sad. It is truly the quintessential feel good film.

The 3D was mind blowing in the cinema back in 2009 and it has been faithfully reproduced for home cinema on BluRay.
A great story, great actors, wonderful music and astonishing computer generated effects.
Exceptional work from James Cameron.

A beautiful cast and a wonderous recreation of the story and characters that is filled with joy, laughter, charm, wit and most importantly, love.

This is a tragic character piece that is so incredibly played by Mr Schwarzenegger (this is some of his best acting and I’m not sure why he wasn’t nominated for any awards) and Miss Breslin and like the virus, will crawl under your skin and stay with you.

Luc Besson creates action with Lucy barely having to lift a finger. A great car chase in Paris has some fantastic stunt crashes.
Not a lot of people like this movie but I’m a fan. I loved it in the cinema & the BluRay has a couple of docos, one of which briefly touches on the science behind it all.

The BluRay is a two disc set with a wonderful documentary on the science of the story narrated by star Matthew McConaughey, plus a multi-chapter in-depth behind the scenes making of. Just brilliant.

My newest LEGO arrived today! Thanks to the Black Friday sale!

I had high expectations and I am very disappointed. No massive difference with the theatrical version.
The BluRay though has a 2nd disc of bonus features which are pretty damn good.
December 1, 2024 at 11:54 AM
The film had, in my opinion, one of the worst posters ever and they even used it on the BluRay.
Some decent bonus features included and one I didn’t try, the Second Screen app.
The only downside is Rogue is only in it for a second or two.
I wonder what I’ll watch next?

I’m definitely going again and can’t wait for part two. Such a shame we can’t just wait 30 minutes for intermission to finish.

There is a scene that even though I knew what was coming, I still jumped. Not from fright but shock. This is a powerful film and a beautiful film. I cried way too much.
There is a beautiful song over the credits “Love Was My Alibi” which just kept the tears flowing.
Highly recommended.

The composition of shots are excellent and the bonus features on the BluRay really give honour to Louis Zamperini.
I’d like to personally thank Angelina Jolie for choosing to create this wonderful film here in Queensland Australia.

Bill has an interesting relationship with a Lady who works at night, played fantastically by Naomi Watts.
This isn’t a laugh out loud comedy but there are some very funny moments. However if you don’t at least have moist eyes by the end, you have a heart of stone!

The BluRay bonus features have numerous alternate/extended scenes, some of which could have stayed in and would have enhanced the story, such as the extra scene at the end.
All in all, this was a lot of fun!

While The Rock would improve these movies, Victor Webster returns as Mathayas which adds continuity. Needing a pay day, a number of familiar faces join the film: Barry Bostwick, Rutgers Hauer, Micheal Biehn, M. Emmet Walsh, and The Hulk himself, Lou Ferrigno.
