If a game studio uses gen AI to replace artist, I will either not play it or pirate it. The worse part is that before @larianstudios.com admitted that they were pushing gen AI on their employe, I was talking with a friend about how hyped we were and that Larian seems to truly care about art.

Not too late for Larian to change course. Or even just say that they made a mistake. I would at the very least be open to give a second chance.

This is fantastic news for the game industry, much better than epic game model.
It's kinda wild to see Epic games CEO Tim Sweeney basically admit that he doesn't think games are art. Like my guy, it's not because you make slop that everyone else does.

One thing I've started doing is everytime I see dumb discourse on Twitter, I come here and check if anyone is talking about it. 9/10 of the "controversies" are made up BS. Kinda helps not going insane

I might be a pessimist but what did the McGill University student expect from an established with a long history of not caring about human rights, that they would change their heart when they study there ? It was obvious from the beginning that McGill university only care about money.
