Video games, video game music, compelling stories, and tasty food. All I wanna do is #demo you.
I can only assume it will release a few months before the PS6 just like how Last of Us and Last of Us 2 closely preceded the PS4 and PS5, respectively.

I briefly tried the Sega, Namco, Capcom, and SNK versions of Picross S. They’re all basically the same, but the newer ones have 10 music tracks you can shuffle instead of 4-6 tracks in the older ones with no shuffle. #demo

I tried out SteamWorld Build since it's leaving Game Pass. I enjoyed the lite simulation and city building mechanics and the loop of steadily expanding above and below ground to get new abilities to keep expanding. #demo

It's criminal that #TheGameAwards jury never remembers either Street Fighter 6 or Vampire Survivors for the best ongoing game category. Both continue to receive excellent updates year round and are mainstays in my rotation.

I looked at the Game Awards nominations, and I've only tried seven of the games on the whole list, mostly because I'm still playing never ending nominee Death Stranding 2 which IMO doesn't deserve to be nominated, and especially not for best narrative.

I haven't played COD in years, but this is such bullshit. Why do they hate their players so much?

I'm super interested in the Steam Machine as an easy way to play indies. Indie games on Steam are generally cheaper and release before console and get updates faster than their console versions. Doesn't sound like it will be great for AAA games though.

Kirby Air Riders is a combat racing game with prototypical “simple to learn, hard to master” mechanics based around a boost/charge command with multiple uses. I imagine some will really enjoy learning how to master it. #demo

Majogami continues Inticreates recent quantity over quality trend with another mediocre action game. While the controls remain excellent, the art style is hard to parse and the game just isn’t interesting. #demo

and Roger is one of the strangest and most interesting games I’ve tried recently. The extremely short #demo demonstrates the anxiety and uncertainty the main character is experiencing through the simple mechanics. It left me intrigued.

Kero Blaster rules. I had been curious about this game for a long while and seeing that it's currently 3 bucks on Switch I decided to try it. Surprisingly fun story and lots of great blasting. Cool bosses and music. And more game here than you'd think. Worth a look!

Earthion OST is great, and fits the game perfectly. If you didn’t know this was a new game, you could easily believe this was released in the early 90s. #gamemusic

I played through the easy mode of Earthion, a new shmup that faithfully replicates a Sega Genesis game. With music from Yuzo Kushiro and some surprising progression elements, it’s a fun time. Will try my luck on normal difficulty next (I’m not very good at this type of game).

I also went through the surprising Banshee’s Last Cry visual novel crossover added to Street Fighter 6. Enjoyed the short, silly story, but needed help from Reddit to figure out how to unlock all 15 endings.

I completed the C. Viper Arcade and World Tour mode content in Street Fighter 6. Love that they are keeping the game relevant for solo players.

I experienced it. It sucked. Multiplayer has no place in the Metroid series.
Metroid Prime series producer Kensuke Tanabe says he’d like more players to be able to experience the second game’s multiplayer mode.

"If it is remade, I’d be delighted for more people to have the chance to experience it.”

I watched Weapons. It might be a little over-stuffed with themes which makes it hard to say which one is the central theme, but it's very well done, especially the pacing and cinematography. Easy recommendation.

Gigasword is a very promising Metroidvania with excellent puzzles that revolve around putting down your heavy sword so you can jump higher and then figuring out how to get the sword back. The #demo is a bit buggy, so hopefully the final game will be cleaner, but I really like it.

I’m not much of an SRPG fan, but I like the twists in Metal Slug Tactics. Neat how you get rewarded for moving around a lot and positioning your characters to surround enemies to create sync attacks. Less of a fan of the roguelite progression, but the pixel art is gorgeous. #demo

I tried out Return to Monkey Island, but I just couldn’t get into it. The start of the game just didn’t draw me in at all and the art style isn’t my thing. #demo

Listening to the Tsugunai OST for the first time in ages and I forgot how insanely good it is. The music is basically Chrono Cross 2. #gamemusic vgmdb.net/album/2011
