The Turkish opposition wakes up to yet another day where they must set aside their daily worries; love life, their kids' exams etc., because the police have arrested Istanbul Mayor İmamoğlu over alleged corruption and terror links. Today, it's his arrest; yesterday, it was his invalidated diploma.

I’m so nervous about the elections - been up since 5am.
I spent the past 10 years working on elections (🇹🇷diaspora 🗳️) while living in🇩🇪. And I’ve barely voiced my opinion on who to vote for. But at this point, I just want to scream in everyone’s face: Don’t vote for the assholes!
