So I am going absolutely sicko mode on my bedroom and I'm adding crown molding and thinking of using corbels so I don't need to miter the corners of the bay window and I was like these are really cool... But then The Voice asked, but could you goon in your own bedroom with 3 Hestias staring at you?

I don't have quite so established types when it comes to women EXCEPT this haircut. I think it's because it's both a hair style I WISH I could pull off and also women with this hairstyle are just very cool.

Spent most of today using a piece of masking tape as a bobbin well cover because I somehow lost the actual cover.

Finished my aura tail and ear horns! Because the tail needs to fit in a carryon the tip pulls off and I used ribbon to anchor it. The ribbon will slot through the back of my Nier tank dress and then ties around my waist.

Added the blonde highlights to my WoL wig. We'll see how punky colors holds up being stored in a wig bag but I liked being able to vary the intensity.

Really glad I kept my patterns for Bryn because I lost the bottom scales off the garterbelt at Colossalcon. I already had the foam clay out so I whacked out another.

Once I find my new place I plan on building a frame so it looks like a giant specimen box and can have these mounted on a wall under the safety of some anti-uv plexi. But for now she is a little crowded by a fat cat.

I would have said it reminds me of the Bengaline I got around that same time period but I think yours might be higher loft than that.

Lastly, use some kind of top coat, preferably satin or glossy. I really like Mr Top Coat in glossy as it's thin so it doesn't remove detail and it's never crazed on me either.
I would avoid UV nail gel topcoats for this final step due to yellowing over time.

Using the alcohol to clean up while sculpting had removed some of my matte primer so I went in with matte Tamiya black to cover up some stray chrome bits, post chroming. Works well enough.

Once you've buffed things, use a fluffy brush to dust off excess powder. Don't worry about brushing away the stuff you buffed in, it's stuck there! After the fluffy brush I go in with a stiffer brush to clean up seams/corners.

For chroming: Use a sponge applicator & buff the powder on. It really is a buffing/rubbing motion you need, don't forget to get into crevices/corners. The chrome won't stick to anything that was painted matte so if the alcohol removed some of your matte, dab a bit more on those parts before chrome.
