This is your (feels like annual) reminder that putting sharpie on your body or close to your eyes/nose/mouth is dangerous.
Yes even after its dry, esp if you're using a glue to attach something you sharpie'd to your eye area. Depending on your lash glue it could cause sharpie to run into your eyes.

So I am going absolutely sicko mode on my bedroom and I'm adding crown molding and thinking of using corbels so I don't need to miter the corners of the bay window and I was like these are really cool... But then The Voice asked, but could you goon in your own bedroom with 3 Hestias staring at you?

While painting my craftroom I got two drips of paint in my eye which is a feat since I wear glasses. Luckily for me my years of wearing cosplay contacts have taught me the important skill of being able to make my eyes water on command so it was actually pretty easy to wash it out.

Help more of my friends have figured out My (primary) Type of fictional guy & now I get DMs like "hey this thing has a red haired guy who is a little/lot dumb & boisterous/gregarious here is a photo" and I can only respond "does he also have shark teeth" while adding that media to my to-do list.

The pure unmitigated joy when a favorite piece of media comes back from hiatus (both Villains are Destined to Die AND Housekeeper of the Dungeon are back & honestly that's a great pair because HKotD is so light & fun it picks me up after seeing what knew fresh hell Penelope is going thru in VaDtD).

The pure unmitigated joy when a favorite piece of media comes back from hiatus (both Villains are Destined to Die AND Housekeeper of the Dungeon are back & honestly that's a great pair because HKotD is so light & fun it picks me up after seeing what knew fresh hell Penelope is going thru in VaDtD).
My tinfoil hat theory re: youtube not counting views from people using adblocker (which also seems untrue given how steep the drop) is that if true it was intentional to try to get creators to police adblock usage. Such a slimy and ultimately ineffective move. 1/2

Unfortunately I'm having to bow out of Gateway Fate this year (I was really looking forward to it!)... Because I am buying an irl house so all creative projects are on hold until I finish moving.
Like sad I can't go but also finally my crafting room won't just be a taken over dining room!

Spent most of today using a piece of masking tape as a bobbin well cover because I somehow lost the actual cover.

Finished my aura tail and ear horns! Because the tail needs to fit in a carryon the tip pulls off and I used ribbon to anchor it. The ribbon will slot through the back of my Nier tank dress and then ties around my waist.

Added the blonde highlights to my WoL wig. We'll see how punky colors holds up being stored in a wig bag but I liked being able to vary the intensity.

Really glad I kept my patterns for Bryn because I lost the bottom scales off the garterbelt at Colossalcon. I already had the foam clay out so I whacked out another.

It's still wild to me how when pictures of my EDI costume get posted or reposted by someone I still get an influx of followers on Insta. The robot lady is eternally popular even from 10 year old photos lmao.

Hoping my Contrado order sneaks in before we lose deminimus because a custom printed length of fabric for a kimono is like 200 bucks and I don't want a pointless tax on top of that. Also got a shorter length of fabric for a goofy fun project :3
