Yeah I don't think anybody expected part 3 of the remake trilogy to hard pivot to turn-based when the first two were action hack-n'-slash with party ability timers. The real question is what FF17 will be.

If they honestly go back to turn-based for a mainline, numbered FF game, I'll eat Mars.

True story, I remember when Bill Wurtz's "history of the entire world, i guess" came out and I was baffled by its monstrous 19 1/2 minute length. That was absurdly long to me at the time.

I'm not sure how to articulate this idea, but I find the label of "genius" to be both depersonalizing and defeatist. Every genius in human history was, at their core, a normal human. Yet "genius" seems to be used liberally to paint someone in a divine light, setting them apart from "normal" people.

My hot youth sports take is and has always been maybe we're focused way too much on youth sports and not enough on all the other things that happen in schools.

But that ain't gonna stop me from standing up for trans folk.

Genuine question, does this actually work on some voters? An old money asshole cosplaying the working class? Is this meant to seem relatable somehow, to pretend to work in a fully curated situation for 20 minutes?
