i was recently shown Gentildonna at the 2014 Dubai Sheema Classic where she casually pulls off a sidestep out of traffic at 40 mph to win. absolute psycho behavior. RIP my queen www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLOw...

after that video anytime i see a video essay that's over 2 hours i'm instantly like "you better figure out how to get to your damn point. you really don't need to include EVERYTHING"

the one that completely soured my view on video essays was quinton reviews icarly thing because i was like "oh people like this guy and i remember that show! let's see what's up!" and about 20 minutes in my eyes were glazed over and i went "i simply do not care about this man or this video"

it really is. my initial reasoning was to read books removed from the context of school and more controversial books just cause i thought it'd be interesting and it was a really fascinating experience. i could come at these texts from my own viewpoint without it feeling like work. it was great!
