How does that prevent students from using AI to evaluate AI essays? I mean this is why some want to ban AI. I don’t see how cultivating AI literacy is an alt solution… cultivating AI literacy also requires teachers to ban students from using AI in some tasks so that they can cultivate said literacy…

Alas… I am doing all short in-class writing assignments and one student wrote in their assignment that *I* do not know what true philosophical inquiry is because I do not assign those long essays and ask them to do exams instead, he said to just give him a zero 😮‍💨 I miss being young and self assured

All of the benevolent uses of AI don't make a lot of money. All of the evil applications are cash cows.

I really wish people would realize the guardrails here are about privacy not technology.
