Having lived in a country with ID cards I have a lot of thoughts and experiences to share. To keep it short

- Physical over digital much better and easier to preserve privacy
- you cannot make digital mandatory for a multitude of reasons
- should be a benefit to citizens not for migration
One million people have already signed a petition against ID cards.

If we’re serious about rebuilding trust, this is the last place to start.

It's like deciding to become a pacifist and then walking into your roughest local pub and knocking everyone's pints out of their hands.

This is a claim pushed by the Kremlin for nearly three years, but there's no evidence for it.

So in Belgium I can get a police certificate free and instantly with a click of a button and in the UK it costs £65 and a 20 day wait

Fresh back from the US elections and making the transition over here.

Witnessed first hand the havoc that other site was causing in the elections from targeted ads based on political views (which Europe has banned) to one-sided non-targeted ads, to failure to tackle m/disinformation
