Just awful. I'm so angry that I voted for this party and I won't make that mistake again. Labour MPs should be ashamed to be part of this.

I wouldn’t have thought many Labour MPs came into politics to strip the rights of torture survivors to be reunited with the spouses & children.

They need to take a long hard look in the mirror & ask whether Starmer, Cooper & Reeves are really the leadership their careers should be remembered with.

Relying on people to vote for you because "look at the alternative" has, repeatedly, been shown to put people off voting, meaning the "alternative" wins. Pandering to the "alternative", merely strengthens their argument, emboldens their supporters, and still puts more people off of voting for you.

This just in: Kier Starmer no longer believed to be left-wing, regardless of how he identifies.

regardless of today’s outcome, it is morally indefensible to have a court ruling on something that affects a population, using evidence and findings that did not consult a single member of that population.

An important reminder as the Supreme Court makes its judgement - not a single trans person was heard from at any point during this case before them, even a trans judge who applied was refused.

This is, as usual, the British state acting as cis people to impose their will on trans people.
