I don't believe the leaders of the far right authoritarian party in Congress will actually fulfill their oaths & do their jobs. But they & the (supposedly) "moderate" 4-5 GOP Senators & 5-10 Reps who could end this all tomorrow by temporarily joining a popular front don't even get asked about it.
Yes, I know what they’re going to say. But they don’t even get <asked> why they’re violating their oaths every day, or what they’re going to do about the daily trashing of the Constitution.
I don't expect Johnson or Thune to actually do their jobs. They want these policies & have also demonstrated they willing to violate their oaths & are on board with the lawless authoritarianism. But...no one <even asks the questions> of them. Or of Murkowski, Collins, etc. Free passes. Every day 🤷♂️
