The idea of making PIP even harder and more unpleasant to claim is appalling. It’s already a cruel, punitive system that harms people caught up in it. That’s the truth of the matter 18/18

Oh goodness this thread was not what I expected on a Friday morning… phew!
Glad you escaped!!
Hope the rest of the day and weekend are better x

Fantastic news and a huge well done to you! 🙌 x

Also if you haven’t already read/heard then Stephen Fry has written many books (and reads on audible) about mythology. 😉

That sounds brilliant for you all. Is N in nursery that day too? So it’ll just be time for you to support J with home schooling/learning?

Oh ffs 🤦‍♀️ I hate these scenarios with a passion and I work in a service where I see patients/people call with this exact thing happening with worker. I really hope they don’t ‘close the case’ - he is a boy (family) who needs support!!

I would 100% be considering a further ‘complaint’ anyway to make sure the damaged part is logged for fixing etc 😉
Hope Phil is ok x

You have to start somewhere and as they say “can’t make an omelette (or scrambled 🥚) without breaking a few eggs…” just a shame they break & are a mess to clean up! 😝
Heidi and I make eggs and she loves cracking them but still grasping to then hold it over the bowl !

Unsurprised given it is near an ‘automotive’ place… they rarely have enough land to park cars on imo and ones on main roads cause havoc. One near my chiropractor have been warned by police to stop blocking access to the clinic everyday. You can’t see to pull out either let alone walk!

Too cute ☺️ that little pouty sad face!

Oh my. I thought ‘My rocking kids’ were generally not quite like this.

I was just thinking ‘ahh that’s lovely’ and then I read the other parts of the thread. Whilst you & J enjoyed the activity, it’s still shitty how/why you ended up doing that. I’m sorry they find it so tough to include him! 😔

It’s gorgeous! I have massive kitchen envy.
Ours needs an overhaul but we aren’t sure if we’ll stay here long term and can’t afford whole new kitchen generally.
Enjoy it!!

Another good shout if you can only just quick microwave with little prep is packeted Mexican beans - heat, spread over tortillas and throw pre-grated cheese over then serve with blobs of pre made guacamole & soured cream if you like that kind of thing.

Fair enough, I’ve had to do the random “make shift & make do” a few times but I get it’s not easy to create space to prepare.

If I was closer I’d happily pop you a big batch over as honestly it’s delish!

I can highly vouch for this, make it a lot and freeze portions too.
TBH never had a bad meal from Taming Twins repertoire and lots of it slow cooker friendly x

There’s a lot you can cook in microwaves! Jamie Oliver even makes a curry in it 😂 chickpeas & sweet potato-looked really nice.
Plus I’m sure a quick google could throw some other options out there.

Or a slow cooker plugged in then microwaved rice?
“All in one pot” slow cooker can be 👍 xx

Haven’t you been doing lots of things before 40 from your list? Some of which have included wonderful hikes and mini projects completed! Your embroidery/needlework was an achievement after such a long time and getting things moving for J is accomplishment too. xx
