Is anyone honestly surprised by this? They don't follow normal processes, & when ppl call them out for it, they throw their hands in the air and say 'wasn't me, some big boys done it then ran away'. Abdication of responsibility - it's sad to see childish politics enacted by supposed adults...

I think it's time we rethink the way our politicians are paid. I don't think we're getting value for money from them, especially from members of the so-called main parties @ Westminster. We need to get PR in place & change how politicians get paid as part of that implementation

Ahhh, it was an 'honest mistake', was it? I call BS, it was honestly done deliberately - for some reason they thought no one would notice it and/or call them out on it - guess they forgot that they're a bit more high-profile publicly these days.....

The councils that Reform won control of seem to be all imploding very rapidly, so I think this 'vote share' thing with Reform will peter out before the next general election because people will have seen how inept they are at enacting their 'populist' policies.

Agreed, the UK Government should be distancing itself from Trump's random toddler rampages - this will hurt Starmer long-term if he just falls in line supporting whatever the US does without doing some thinking for himself - use that Lawyer brain, Keir!
