Did you know that "Administrative Detentions" by Israel began as early as 1948, though it is said it became more systemic around 1967. Historically, Administrative Detentions are a legacy of the British Empire, which evidently was a bad role model.

Les campagnes contre Mamdani étaient super racistes, donc c'est une autre raison de se réjouïr. Ce n'est pas surprenant que des arguments racistes et identitaires ne fonctionnent pas à New York. Mamdani est resté la tête haute, focalisé sur les enjeux, et s'est comporté comme l'adulte dans la salle.

Je disais jadis : « S'il y avait un génocide, on serait à peine 500 à manifester à Québec, mais on peut être des milliers pour un sport.» Là, je sais que c'est pire en réalité. Seulement pour les travailleur-euses humanitaires, on compte plus de 500 personnes assassinées par l'armée israélienne.
