He does this for a little bit then finds something else to blame, then comes back to us, then goes away.

It's the same strategy they used before of flooding the zone with so much insane lunacy that you forget what he's done only a few weeks ago. He's out here for himself and no one else.

The GOP and cons in general love pretexts to push their agendas of oppression.
January 30, 2026 at 5:15 PM
The entirety of this site has become blame the Democrats for things the Republicans are doing. It's a very fascinating social experiment from the outside, to say the least.

Or maybe it's time to say something to the people burning the 1st amendment? Just a thought
January 30, 2026 at 3:56 PM
And many people in their 20s have parents help them out with bills, and even people in their 30s have parents help out with money for buying their first home.

Are those people not adults?

That reflects the shitty reality for young people and the HCOL, not that they aren't adults.
January 26, 2026 at 9:55 PM
Yeah.. except going to university is a little bit more intricate than teaching a dog tricks. That's why we don't give out undergrad degrees to golden retrievers.

Not to mention there's people at that age who don't go to university at all! And guess what? Still an adult.
January 26, 2026 at 5:46 PM
Disagree. By the time you are 21 you have most likely completed most of your post secondary degree, and are carving out your future, yet you think that person shouldn't legally be an adult? 25 would just be insane.

The most damning angle there is. This was not a justified shooting, every single officer there needs to be sent to prison.
January 24, 2026 at 9:12 PM
And Stephen Miller is accusing anyone who opposes them as domestic terrorists participating in an insurrection. The Republican party is irredeemable.
January 24, 2026 at 8:29 PM
Of course! Funny how that works huh? Guns aren't dangerous, until someone they don't like has one. Then they're very dangerous and shouldn't even have one.

From a video on reddit, it looks like an officer disarmed the guy and took the gun, THEN they shot him afterwards.

These storms in the winter keep getting bigger and bigger, what happened to global warming?!?! /s
January 23, 2026 at 5:13 PM
Yup. And "Alberta" didn't even exist when the Treaties were signed lol.
January 22, 2026 at 10:44 PM
Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and say that the PM knows *slightly* more about what he's doing than randos on social media who have absolutely nothing to lose lmao.
January 21, 2026 at 2:50 AM
No, try reading though it helps.
January 21, 2026 at 2:46 AM
Remember when taking 17c/L off did absolutely nothing you said would happen Pierre?
January 20, 2026 at 10:22 PM
Yeah? Especially if we find a solution that we don't have today
January 20, 2026 at 9:20 PM
C5 bill had nothing to do with America/Trump though, that was on Carney's list as a pre-election promise, and one that got a lot of scrutiny since it's very con coded policy. Which, ultimately he's pretty much a con economically speaking.

A west to east pipeline ain't getting built anyways
January 20, 2026 at 9:20 PM
And I'd rather not kick the hornets next with nukes any sooner than necessary. Wouldn't you?
January 20, 2026 at 9:14 PM
Not kissing ass but also not provoking Trump more than necessary like you're suggesting. If Carney had come out on a completely anti Trump/US tirade initially, the consequences could have been deadly.

Truthfully there is no easy solution to deal with this situation.
January 20, 2026 at 9:10 PM
The point still remains that it's a fine line to tread when publicly disparaging Trump leads to real consequences. I'm sure many leaders are holding back what they really want to say against him.

The best strategy is to build on what Carney has done to forge new alliances as quietly as possible
January 20, 2026 at 9:06 PM
3. Which charter rights?
4. While not as large Canada still has its own AI and the sector while shitty is too big to ignore now. American companies dominate a lot of sectors, do we stop investment there too?
5. Carney said he would arrest Netanyahu, that's not nothing and Israel didn't like that
January 20, 2026 at 9:04 PM
1. The DST was scrapped as part of the initial trade war deals, and I'm sure many Canadians would take the economic stability we had of 2025 vs not getting that done
2. This goes back to the initial point that it's a difficult line to walk of saying what you want to say vs the potential conflict.
January 20, 2026 at 9:01 PM
What actual actions do you want him to take?
