This right here. Bluesky gives the tools and the “block-and-move-on” culture motivation to choose not to argue, not to dunk, to just ignore people who suck. It feels good! And it’s very specifically why certain people are so mad about Bluesky: They NEED the arguing. It’s all they have.
Also when I came to Bluesky I largely gave up arguing online and I genuinely haven't been happier on a social media instance for years

I read Parker's piece about the deeply unwell ghouls of the right-wing outrage machine spinning "Superman is nice" into another dumb culture war, and it was a great reminder to buy Friday tix to Superman. I mean, a big-screen spectacle of "basic human kindness" sounds really nice right about now.
