Growing up we had a huge apricot tree and would pick and clean many kilograms for jam and chutney. Saw a box of apricots at my veg shop today and couldn't resist

Experimenting with starter packs...
I was planning to do the first 150 educators I find, but then I also filtered to prioritize women and non-white/north people when I found them.
I think I can find 150 more...

I can't find African Scientists and researchers easily on here. As the second largest continent with 1.3 billion inhabitants our perspectives matter. I'm creating a starterpack to find folks, follow them and amplify them. If you are an African Scientist let me know below so I can add you. Thanks.

In the early 1990s to maybe around mid 2000s this man taught maths and science on free to air broadcast TV. He was streamed into classrooms, did complicated math problems and was the reason I passed science in matric. Rest in peace Will Smith. You did country duty.

Hate being back at work, productivity and motivation getting lower each day. Hot flushes driving me mad. Between worry about baby sis cancer, hot flushes and some other worries I want to sit and cry most days. Constantly being told by uni management how bad we are is demotivating me to even care.

So I've been back to the office for the first time in 4 years. It's a struggle. Hate the noise. Hate sitting in a dull office in Teams meetings. At least my home office has a beautiful garden to look at. I go home completely drained.
