Reynard the fox and Bruin the bear; I thought that that would be fun new characters to draw/paint and add to my daughter’s room.
I have a book almost finished that I want to put out before she turns two, another for 3, another for 5… this may become my project for year 4 :)

For day, six of folktale week, the prompt was “storm”

I’ve been working on a kids book for a while. Basing it off of two things, the ideal day of ecological exploration for my 15 month old daughter, and an adorable picture book about a dog called “ run fast, Milo” by Julie Soto.
I plan to call it “What Juni Sees,” and it’s for emergent readers

It’s staggering to think back to all the times when my mother told me to turn off the screen, and come do something with her that would’ve likely made an impactful memory, and my response was always “ just five more minutes.”

Six men I was inspired by growing up who no longer walk this earth.
I can hardly wait to introduce my daughter to every one of them, and their unique moralities.
