The ACAB Zine Fest is this weekend! Come by the @imaginewaterworks.org table to get copies of the New Orleans Community Resource Guide (free) & the absolutely gorgeous Queer/Trans Guide to Storms (sliding scale). Saturday 11-6 at the Fred Hampton Free Store & Sunday 11-5 at Gasa Gasa.

Did you know you can order a copy of the zine anytime online?

Also available for purchase at The Imagination Farm in New Orleans. It’s cheaper to purchase here in person (sliding scale, minimum $12), as we make no profit and are just covering printing costs.

Atlanta is embracing a cheap, effective way to beat urban heat: ‘cool roofs’.

White or reflective roofs significantly reduce temperatures. Atlanta is the latest city to mandate their adoption.

This year we’ve had every conference proposal accepted & every grant proposal denied.

It’s clear progressives want to learn from trans Indigenous people but are too politically afraid to really roll w/us. We can’t help but wonder what happens when we’re no longer here or able to volunteer our time?

See yall TONIGHT @ 5-7pm for OPERATION DREAM

We knew we wanted to do something to acknowledge the upcoming anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, but doom and gloom has never sat well with us.

Make no mistake – this is an attack on all disabled, trans, unhoused, and BIPOC people.

Disappearing "those who cannot care for themselves" is also an attack on mutual aid and on any movement or system of care that we have created to weather these hard times together.

I’m so proud of the resource guide, and honored to get to partner with @imaginewaterworks.org to keep it going. Please use it and share it around, and if you are able to put a few dollars towards printing costs, by all means! Digital is great, but not everyone has easy internet access.

Okay, you got us. We're finally joining Bluesky before peak storm season!

We also unfortunately have impersonators of many kinds. So YES this is the real IWW account (.org in our name means it's verified by our website).

On other platforms, please make sure you're following *Imagine* Water Works.
