Took a wonder around our local Morrisons to see if shelves were 95% full. This is the stated goal of the new monitoring
There were lots of gaps!! Much of the research shows that these systems breed mistrust. Most of the missing stock was on lower shelves. Heinz beans section was noticeably empty.

More news of employee monitoring a Morrisons. Done fairly and with due regard to GDPR, Equalities legislation and common decency these can be effective. But the creeping nature if ths surveillance opens up risks in terms of privacy and is open to abuse.
