The canned laughter in Disney+ M*A*S*H drives me crazy. I love the series and I have it on DVD where you can choose an audio track without the stupid, ill-fitting canned laughter. The show is much better, even poignant that way.
Why the hell doesn't Disney+ provide an audio option without it?

Back to The Future was brilliant. Part II was bleak and disappointing, but part III was back to the form, joyous and fun.
Much like Men in Black. Part I was brilliant, part II was disappointing, but part III was again great, entertaining and surprisingly poignant.

So, yesterday my trusty ol' Synology DS415+ decided to spice up my day with a dash of cold sweat and panic by showing an orange led in the front panel.
Sure enough, one HDD in the 4-drive pool was "Critical".
Thank dog for hot swappable drives, but ffs I have enough anxiety in my life already

I don't get its appeal. A hodgepodge of a number of sci-fi tropes, filler scenes, stilted dialogue, uninteresting characters.
Could've worked as an X-Files episode, though.

I really dislike the CGI look of movies these days. It's so obvious and omnipresent. While it may be pretty, in and of itself, it feels... wrong. Inauthentic. It often doesn't so much create an illusion, rather than destroys the illusion.
