The “deal” that Brown made with the Trump admin is much more extreme than is being reported. It includes government oversight of course evaluations and no barrier to government interference in faculty hiring.

Starvation is a technique of genocide. Starvation is unspeakably cruel painful. I scrape for words and find none. Abhorrent. All of our governments, mine especially, are complicit.
They already tried the airdrops. They’re horribly inefficient, especially now in the face of mass starvation, & they killed Palestinians by landing on them. Every humanitarian agency on earth says they’re a bad idea & performative.

Stop letting Israel dictate the terms. Open the crossings.
Israel will allow foreign countries to airdrop aid into Gaza, an Israeli security source says, as the country faces mounting backlash over a spiraling hunger crisis in the Palestinian enclave.

I had missed this. Not only is Trump deporting US citizens & denying migrants due process, but he is also terminating immigration judges while complaining due process is too cumbersome.

Trump fires more immigration judges even as he aims to increase deportations
Getting rid of judges adds to criticism of the Trump administration for not giving migrants or noncitizens enough due process before they're deported.
