And it has an upright border around the edge like a shallow creme brûlée dish. The kitten is strolling along casually, unconcerned and unimpressed by the marvel of nature it's walking on. In the pond behind the kitten you can see many more lily pads of similar size.

I've been on bluesky for a year and a half, and I had been on twitter since 2008 before I quit last November. So speaking as someone who is pretty experienced with both I am much happier here. The moderation tools and general vibe here tend to discourage gratuitous drama and trolling.
