Having public furniture that allows people to sleep on isn’t the issue. It’s making it uncomfortable for the sake of preventing people to sleep on it that is. Like it’s a cool aesthetic object, but it’s a monument to hostile architecture when there’s little inverted Us and public benches around.

Could be ironic, but alas bsky.app/profile/d3ci...
The lead authors emphasize that this is an association, not proof of causation: “infection during pregnancy may pose risks … but this study does not prove that COVID-19 causes autism or other neurodevelopmental disorders.”

I did not know @controller.lacity.gov had billboards up during his campaign. Police funding needs to be seen as wasteful by the general public.

Even during Biden’s admin, they posted ebike safety notices that people rightly called them out on and they always reply that car safety falls under the NHTSA bsky.app/profile/did:...

NHTSA is responsible for that data and they have a lot of resources on their website: www.nhtsa.gov/road-safety

Unhoused people are not "People with zero source of income."

Unhoused people are "People whose source of income is not enough to acquire and maintain a house."

In 2025, you can have a job, and through unseen events (wildfire, medical debt, temporary loss of income, arrest) lose your housing.

Of course practice is important as well given my many shit attempts at folding a burrito. I swear it's my cooking equivalent of Hollow Knight. Where instead of impatient being my cause of lose in a game, for me, folding a burrito fails because of greed. I just keep overstuffing it!

Honestly America's Test Kitchen has shown me that it's not only a good recipe that makes a dish, but good equipment as well. I love my stainless steel pots so fucking much. They really are the workhorses of the kitchen.

Carlos Maza kept his integrity

Phil Edwards is continuing his 99% invisible-esque videos

Johnny Harris is a CIA plant. Better to watch Sam Ellis’ Search Party channel

And I wanna like Cleo Abram but she parrots Silicon Valley propaganda
