Silver lining to the debit card fiasco, hubby and I went to update the auto payment for his gaming PC and we realized how close it was to paid off so we just paid it off in full. Lol. One less bill to worry about.

Really did not have someone tries to fraudulently charge $316.46 on my debit card on my bingo card for today. But here we are. 😭 Card has been cancelled and charges will be refunded (thank goodness for USAA) but still. 😭

Spent yesterday at the lake with hubby, the kids, my mom and my niece (my sister & her fiance unfortunately had to work) everyone had a good time. Except my stupid skin that despite wearing sunscreen and reapplying I still got sunburnt. 🤦♀️ Luckily it wasn't the part of my arm I use when massaging. 🤣

My dad arrives this evening. I'm so excited. But man the hardest part is always coming up with low carb lunch ideas. He's diabetic and while at home I know he doesn't always follow the diet he is supposed to, I make sure he does while he's here. Lol

Switch Joycons pair to Switch 2 easily and worked great for Mario Kart World. Just be smarter than me and make sure your OG Switch isn't right next to the Switch 2 so the joycons don't just auto pair to the older Switch. 🤣

I'm going to attempt to get a Switch 2 at Target tomorrow morning. Why Target? Because I'm too old and tired for a midnight release event at Best Buy or GameStop and Walmart opens at 6am, Target opens at 8. Lol.

Helping my daughters restart their island on ACNH has me thinking about how excited we all were over the tiniest things when it first came out. Villagers having toe beans, our character having knees, being able to wear bags/backpacks. Man I just want that feeling back.
