These 4 are my absolute favorite paintings and have been for decades, yet I've never been able to articulate *why* I like them. "I and the Village" by Marc Chagall, "To Give Painless Light" by Roberto Matta, "The Shooting Stars" by Jean-Francois Millet and "Et in Arcadia, Ego", by Poussin.

Tried to pixel a Cylon from little-known sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica. Getting the lighting/reflections right was so much trial and error, I abandoned the rest of the helmet entirely. I'm no longer sure if it looks like Boomer/Sharon Valerii. Hope you like it. #pixelart #gamedev #portrait

Here's an earlier version, when the blob evolved into a bust, before I went nuts on the lighting and colors. I'm doing this for my little point and click project on Godot and all my art is made with Pixelorama. So #gamedev.

I did a little Sunday study. Started with a blue-grey blob (Payne's Grey RGB values, btw, if you're into watercolor painting!) Then I just piled on pixels until it looked like something. Then I got carried away playing with lighting. Hope you like it! #pixelart.
