She came from an acting family. Her father was a well established theatre actor and her sister, Michele Dotrice, played the long suffering wife in the TV Series 'Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em'.

Rare visit from a heron in the garden today. We get a visit about once a year. There is a sizeable lake about 8km away.

With all that's going on in the world right now, this 65 year old is starting to struggle mentally. I find myself looking for little boosts, however small. Today I reminded myself that this aeonium was rescued from Storm damage 2 years ago, it was almost dead. Look at it now.

So, today I am mowing my nature strip in Montrose, Victoria and I come across a dozen eggs underneath one of the plants. They look like chicken eggs, but I have never seen any chickens around here. I have left them and will check on them now and again.
