This is soooo concerning. There are so many basic world building problems and really integral issues with the story, that him saying "the story is slightly changing" is not looking good. The revised edition is just going to be the same book again, with slightly better writing, I fear.
A comment asking "is the story changed or just the way it's written?" and The World of Gardian account asnwering "The story is slightly changing in some parts, writing is being revised and rewritten in some parts, illustration will tell some of the story!"

Seeing the Game Awards Nominees and I have two thoughts:

If Clair Obscur doesn't win Game of the Year, I'm gonna riot.

Seeing Clair Obscur in the best Debut Indie Game category, makes me a little sad. Like I know it technically IS that, but it feels so unfair to the other games 😅

I'm so sorry to come back to this, but this part has been bothering me for months now: Milo's finances drive me CRAZY. How... do you get like $200k from preorders and immediately think you have to put EVERYTHING back into your company? Why did you think you have to employ your artists?
My sales came to a screaming stop. My revenue projections were thrown out the window. I had a team of 20 artists I was either contracting or employing. All of them were furloughed. I failed them with my entrepreneurial attitude. I took financial risks and put all six figures back into my business. My business, the same one that suddenly stopped making money. Why the hell didn’t I put some back into my savings? I couldn’t even stay afloat myself, how had I cared more about Gardian than protecting my own livelihood?

I'm like a disappointed parent. I was really hoping taking some time to reflect would help Milo Winter understand, but he hasn't learned anything. Sorry, but even if the new edition turns out better (which I'm doubting) I can't forgive him for continuing to lie and misrepresent the situation.

Okay, just in case anyone was curious about Milo Winter's essay on the website: Don't even bother. He's just rehashing everything he already said before, still blaming the editors, still blaming ONE Tiktok for the hate his book got, still maintaining that people hated him for writing a bad book.

Omg, that last sentence.... "Redo the book, and I’m money-obsessed." How can you STILL not understand this? The reason people had issues with this was the fact that you had PREORDERS up immediately after announcing you were redoing the book.... What's not clicking??
Even when I tried to speak about how much it was hurting me, I was told I was being too dramatic. ​ Be emotional, and I'm an attention-seeker. Be casual, and I'm too informal. Be formal, and I'm too corporate. Be genuine, and I'm too immature. Be confident, and I'm narcissistic. Be authentic, and I'm pity marketing. Be hurt, and I’m too sensitive. Be proud of myself, and I’m too cocky. Redo the book, and I’m money-obsessed.
