I swear. People whose favorite is LWJ have the worst taste in fics. Inevitably, a fic recommendation will be: WWX hurts LWJ and must grovel, Lan Sizhui only calls LWJ a-die and ignores WWX, LWJ rescues WWX who makes mistakes bc he’s stupid.

I do wish I could find more fans of Wei Wuxian who like him as his character and not some fanon take. I like him intelligent, opinionated, & silly.
I’m just not into the recent trend on X of making him into a basic tradwife. It’s the compete opposite of his character. And it reads as self-insert.
