The Democratic Party needs to get out of this woman's way.
AOC: I don’t care what Elon Musk is doing behind the presidential seal, but in this country we hate Nazis. Kind of like a foundational defining thing. Two of the foundational things about American history is that we beat the confederates and we beat the Nazis.

hi #booksky! I am after a new book to start! I have already read Parable of the Sower and Parable of the Talents and am after something else in that same sort of vein. Recommendations welcome!

Reading Parable of the Talents now by Octavia E Butler. Found this passage relevant to our times. Actually this entire book is relevant to our dystopian reality. #booksky #booktok

Finished Shadow of What Was Lost, now on to book 2! Thoughts: Overall pretty decent for a first novel. It was a book that I felt like I'd read before, though, beause a lot of the big reveals were pretty predictable for any chronic fantasy reader. I liked it enough to go on to the next book though!

Currently reading: The Shadow of What Was Lost- James Islington.
Thoughts so far: pretty engaging if standard epic fantasy. Some blatant christian overtones in the mythology, but not enough to make me stop reading. Most of the characters are well written, and I do like the rest of the worldbuilding.

I guess I am going to turn this into a reading account. Reading has been my longest hobby since I first read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a youngster, and I don't have any other social media dedicated to the vast quantity of books I read. Reading is an act of quiet revolution.
