Ah but you've wandered off piste. You claimed that Chomsky defended genocide, which he never did. Some of his writing was contentious at the time and later corrected, but at no time did he deny the atrocities committed or defend them.

Hmmm, show me where Chomsky actually defended genocide.... as opposed to showed skepticism of claimed numbers killed or criticism of the use of the term (while not denying the atrocity).

I think it's as much about those huge names who he and other Rep+Dem politicians want to protect. While Trump may be president there are even bigger names in those files, and lots of them.

You could ask your local rescue if they need any fostering homes. We have 7 and while they can be a pain at times we'd not be without them.
