Conversely, just this week, a friend who does not like Shrek noted that they purchased a nail polish from a licensed tie in line (likely #colourpop, who makes a ton of these) because they loved the color.

Cut to San Diego Comic-con 2016, where there was a full MAC activation/pop up shop to show off their new Star Trek line. I remember wishing I liked the color of the “Khaaaaaaaan!” nail polish better.

In 2013 I vividly remember seeing this ad as part of the Cover Girl “capitol collection” tied to Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Something distinctly/appropriately dystopian about giving the coal mining district a smoky eye.

Truly, such an exemplary group of students in my big foundation media storytelling and analysis class this semester. Feeling incredibly spoiled. Here's a tier list some of them did (and we all debated) on the screenings this semester (pre-Phantom of the Paradise screening, which is obviously S-tier)
