I honestly have not seen this since I saw it, age 9, in a theatre with my sister. It blew my mind and i thought it was brilliant but I don't want to ruin that by ever seeing it again, at all.

The Green Pastures, USA, 1936, possibly the first major studio movie with an all-Black cast. The movie is somewhat whitened because they had Dick Powell, who is not in it, appear in the trailer, apparently to show white audiences that it would be safe to watch. CW: stereotypes, bible stories.

One more! The flag of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, established in 1928 in Eastern Russia. I have no idea why it is a rainbow. (I'm also not sure when the flag was adopted.)
